You can Host Multiple L4D Servers, Your own Ventrilo/Teamspeak/Mumble Server and Your very own clan website. There are no restrictions of any kind and you can host virtually anything you want!
The Top of the Range Nemesis Server has a better specification than the nearest comparable host, Multiplay and is half the price.

Ladder Demotions
posted by SteveP @ 04:16 PM BST We have now enabled ladder demotions whereby you will receive penalties for inactivity.Currently, the following is applicable:
2-3 Periods of inactivity: -1 place demotion
4-5 Periods of inactivity: -2 place demotion
6-7 Periods of inactivity: -4 place demotion
8 Periods of inactivity: Removal from ladder
A period for the ladder will be 7 day starting 00:00 hours each Monday. Match results must be entered and confirmed within the period to avoid any inactivity penality
Please note that the above penalties are for general guidance only. Actual movements are dictated not only match results but also the activity of teams around you.
For example:
A -1 place demotion could result in a net movement up the ladder if a team above and below you also received a greater penalty.
Inactivity penalties are applied after played results have been applied to the ladder, thus any drop could be greater if others who have played have also leapfrogged your position and thus naturally demoted you down the ladder.

Play More Games
posted by JamesBPK @ 07:56 PM BST There have several new registrations to the ladder in the past couple of weeks, But no clans have played matches in over a month.Clans that have not played a match and are registered for the ladder two weeks from now (1st June) will be removed, as It makes the ladder look dead.
We are getting requests to update the ladder but there is no point as the standings have not changed.
This website took a lot of effort to put together. I'm hoping clans will start playing now that the SDK has been released and community maps start appearing.
Let me remind you again, If you have created a map, know of a good map and want it used for ladder play, just give use a shout. If you want your map hosted, we can put it on the Wireplay FTP site.

Ladder Generation
posted by SteveP @ 08:56 PM GMT We will finally generate the ladder this coming Monday, this will include all confirmed results for the past few weeks since the ladder started upto and including Sunday evening. The Initial ladder generation is a one off concept, in that it is calculated using a points system on a per game basic, therefore benefiting teams which have played more games AND/OR have good score ratio vs their opponents. Future ladder periods will be generated using the standard logic.
The Ladder will also record your highest ladder rank and win streak, please note that records are not recorded until a team has played 5 games.
May I apologise for the lack of action these past weeks, the Ladder View generation is long overdue and an unfortunate victim of real life.
